Kynera architects, engineers, and implements the operational, data, and intelligence infrastructure that lets growing businesses scale without proportional cost growth. This spans nine core solutions — from data architecture and process automation to decision intelligence, applied AI systems, and custom engineering — delivered individually or as an integrated build.

Do you work with startups or only established companies?

Kynera serves SMBs and mid-market companies, roughly 10 to 1,000 employees. Smaller businesses typically engage us for a defined, high-impact project — automation, data infrastructure, a specific operational fix. Larger clients pursue broader infrastructure work. We take enterprise engagements selectively and usually do not work with pre-revenue startups.

How long does a typical engagement take?

It scales with the client. Smaller businesses get fast, contained sprints — 2 to 4 weeks to fix one specific bottleneck. Larger mid-market and scale-up clients typically run 3 to 6 months for a full systems build. We size the timeline to the problem, not the company.

Do you support implementation, or only strategy?

Both, and we're built to favor implementation. Kynera exists because most companies don't lack strategy documents — they lack the engineering capacity to build what the strategy calls for. We design the roadmap and build the system.

Is AI part of every engagement?

AI capability is built into how we architect systems, not sold as a separate add-on. Whether it shows up as an automation layer, a predictive model, or an applied AI tool depends on where it creates measurable value in your operation — not on trend.

Are your services adapted to different industries?

Yes. Our core solutions are horizontal — they apply to any operating business. We also maintain dedicated approaches for industries with distinct operating models, including manufacturing, agriculture, retail, professional services, medical/beauty, and hospitality.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Hybrid by default. Most engagements run remotely. Where a diagnostic or audit requires direct observation of operations — common in manufacturing or complex process work — we work on-site, primarily within the GTA.

Kynera is a strategic systems engineering and infrastructure pertner, not a consulting or software agency. We build the operational, data, and intelligence infrastructure that allows SMBs to scale margin through digital optimization, automation, and applied AI.

What makes Kynera different from traditional consultancies?

Traditional consultancies hand you a strategy deck and leave. Traditional agencies execute a narrow slice — marketing, or dev, or data — in isolation. Kynera does both: we diagnose the problem across strategy, data, operations, and technology, then engineer and implement the system that solves it. One partner, one architecture, no handoff.

Where is Kynera based?

Kynera is headquartered in Canada, with a primary operating base in the Greater Toronto Area. We work with clients across North America.

What is Kynera's approach to technology and AI?

We treat AI and automation as infrastructure, not features. The question is never "should we use AI" — it's whether a given process, decision, or system genuinely benefits from it. We often reengineer the process first; automation and AI get applied to what's left.

Do you work with external partners?

Yes, selectively. Where a client's needs are better served by a specialized platform or technology partner than by custom-built infrastructure, we integrate that partnership into the engagement rather than forcing a build that doesn't need to happen.

How experienced is the team behind Kynera?

Kynera is founder-led. Our managing partners have operated on both sides of this work — strategy and go-to-market on one side, data architecture and systems engineering on the other — before founding Kynera to bring both under one roof.

Do you offer fixed pricing or custom quotes?

Every engagement is quoted individually based on scope and complexity — we don't sell fixed packages off a price list. For ongoing needs, we also offer retainer arrangements, typically for post-engagement support, maintenance, or advisory work.

Is there a minimum commitment required?

No formal minimum. Engagement size is set by the scope of the problem, not by a contract floor.

Can Kynera work across different time zones?

Yes. Most of our work is remote-capable, and we structure engagement cadence — check-ins, deliverable reviews, reporting — around your time zone.

What happens after an engagement ends?

You keep everything we build — the systems, the documentation, the architecture. Many clients transition into a lighter-touch retainer for ongoing support; others take the system in-house from day one. Either way, there's no dependency built into the design.

Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes, on a retainer basis, scoped to what you actually need — anything from system monitoring and maintenance to periodic advisory check-ins as your business evolves.

How do you handle confidentiality?

We sign NDAs as standard practice before any diagnostic or engagement that involves access to your operational or financial data.
